How to get a user's usage stats

Hi there,

I’d like to know if this is possible to get Grafana’s users stats, such as daily / weekly / monthly usage, in duration.

Example: Martha used* Grafana for 30 min. on October 29th, 2020.

  • I understand that “use” would need to be defined here. It could: time user is logged in, or time on an active tab, etc…

In my initial search, I couldn’t find this functionality in Grafana, or in the plugins.

My only lead so far is this community post from 2018, that mentions a possible solution using Jaeger

Am I missing something here?
I’m still fairly new to Grafana, so this is possible.

Use enterprise version https://grafana.com/docs/grafana/latest/enterprise/usage-insights/
Or build stats based on Grafana logs or extend grafana and add custom analytics with custom tracking of actions/labels, e. g. Google Analytics.
