How to Display Elapsed time

  • What Grafana version and what operating system are you using?
    Grafana 10.2 on windows

  • What are you trying to achieve?
    To display elapsed time since a change occurred

  • How are you trying to achieve it?
    I’ve tried multiple different approaches including transformation but nothing seems to work

  • Did you receive any errors in the Grafana UI or in related logs? If so, please tell us exactly what they were.
    There is no elapsed function that works and i can’t subtract time so i’m not sure how to approach it

Not sure if you ever found a solution (if yes, please post here), but if not, maybe this will help:

Have you run a query on your InfluxDB that determines that amount of elapsed time (hours, days, etc.) since the last timestamp? In addition, you would select your Unit in the Standard Options to be one of these:
