How can I turn off Annotations

Running Enterprise 12.0.0 on prem I’m getting Alert annotations that clutter my TImeSeries panel. How can I turn off the Alert annotations? I find nothing searching chart options or alerting.

I would like to retain the option of making manual annotations of events, but do not want Alerts to automatically create them in my panels.

Customise it for your needs in the (Dashboard) Settings → Annotations:
