How can I use Variables : variable type : Text box, in Query and Transform
e.g : I have a telemetry point A from query, I and I want to multiply that value (A) * 0.5 (user input from the variable text box).

The Text panel (which is what is being used in the current version 9 of Grafana) will not allow the user to enter data from the dashboard view. I would suggest you update to v9 and then look at this plugin.
