Since our Grafana setup was upgraded to Grafana v11.1.0 (5b85c4c2fc) from v10.x (I can’t remember the exact version) we are experiencing this graph drawing glitch.
Grafana v11.x seems to introduce a paginated way of drawing the graphs, in 24hr blocks. However, at those 24hr intervals, the data point seems to go missing, so the graph is drawn with that missing data point as zero, so there is a dip in the graph line.
If I set the ‘Min interval’ to a high value, like 30m, the glitch is more pronounced, wo I will use that as an example to demonstrate the issue.
Please find attached a screenshot of this drawing glitch - you can see where the line drops every 24 hr, which seems to be where the drawing pagination is split.
We never experienced this drawing glitch in Grafana v10.x, which didn’t seem to have this graph drawing pagination feature (and just drew the graph graphics in one go).
Any suggestions on what the cause of the issue is and how to resolve it?
