  • What are you trying to achieve?
    Using temp credentials (Grafana Assume Role) for the Amazon Managed Prometheus datasource.

  • How are you trying to achieve it?
    Currently the Amazon Managed Prometheus data source only has an option for Secret ID and Secret Key based auth. I would like it to work like the CloudWatch data source with awsDatasourcesTempCredentials enabled.

There is no option for that. Your only option is to request that feature from your Grafana support.
