Grafana as a BI tool

Grafana is a great tool to view live data and to some extent can be used as a BI tool for basic things.

Is there any interest on the development side to expand Grafana to the BI world?

For those of us who are interested in integrating some BI features, is custom plugins the way to go?

Hi @xbalayer the Grafana team is investing a lot of effort in expanding our BI plugins and capabilities. Some recent additions have been the Pie Chart, the GeoMap plugin, and the Categorical Bar Chart
