Geo-map panel with prometheus

• What Grafana version and what operating system are you using?
  Centos-7 OS with grafana version 8.2.2

• What are you trying to achieve?
  Timely plotting of certain metrics across the whole world with prometheus

• How are you trying to achieve it?
  I was trying to have a metric like this
  custom_map_metric{instance=“localhost:6005”, job=“map_config”, latitude=“39.9042”, longitude=“116.4074”, mac=“00:90:81:70:ae:89”}
  and i am trying to plot this value whose value falls on the china region as per the latitude and longitude

• What happened?
  
  The plotting of value is happening across end of Africa
  In the visualization tab, across the Data layer I am not getting the necessary label of latitude/longitude as per the above image

• What did you expect to happen?
  Plotting of the data happens in Africa while it has to happen in China
