Info from Link: using the ‘Export for Excel option’ in Grafana adds the sep=, line at the top, which then breaks the UTF-8 interpretation specified by the BOM (apparently that is a bug in Excel itself)…
So a potential workaround is:
Instruct the User through the Dashboard NOT to use the Excel option, and show them how to open the file through Excel’s Import Wizard to manually specify the comma as the delimiter.
Then they get the UTF8 and the columns.
