"Escape newlines" available in Explore but not in Dashboard Logs Panel

Hi all,

I’ve noticed that the “Escape newlines” feature is available in the Explore view when inspecting logs, but it doesn’t seem to exist in the Logs panel within a Dashboard. This makes the log rendering behavior inconsistent — multi-line logs or logs with \t and \n are shown differently depending on where you’re viewing them.

I have two questions:

  1. Is there a way to manually enable “Escape newlines” or mimic its behavior in the Logs panel on a dashboard?
  2. Is this feature planned for future releases of the Dashboard logs panel, or is it currently a known limitation/WIP?
