  • What Grafana version and what operating system are you using?

Grafana Cloud

  • What are you trying to achieve?

Set up monitoring of a Linux machine, following the guide at https://[myorg].grafana.net/a/grafana-selfservetutorials-app/linux-node

  • How are you trying to achieve it?

Simply following the steps in the guide.

  • What happened?

In step 2.2, “Download the Grafana Agent Binary by running the following command”, there’s a command that will download a script from https://storage.googleapis.com/cloud-onboarding/agent/scripts/grafanacloud-install.sh. But this resource returns a 403 status code.

  • What did you expect to happen?

I expect to be able to download the script.

  • Can you copy/paste the configuration(s) that you are having problems with?

I didn’t configure anything yet.

  • Did you receive any errors in the Grafana UI or in related logs? If so, please tell us exactly what they were.

No.

  • Did you follow any online instructions? If so, what is the URL?

As already mentioned, I’m following the tutorial at https://[myorg].grafana.net/a/grafana-selfservetutorials-app/linux-node

I believe the latest version of script hosted at grafana agent’s github is this one
