Does enabling unified alerting state history with prometheus backend then grafana stops tracking on its end to show in alerta state history view?

  • What Grafana version and what operating system are you using?
    Grafana v12.1.0

  • What are you trying to achieve?
    Enabling feature Add state history backend to write ALERTS metric.

  • How are you trying to achieve it?
    Configuring as documented stated

  • What happened?
    Was able to see alert state history metrics get remote written to my Prometheus stack.
    Though noticed that alert state history is not tracked anymore on the grafana end.
    Before when not enabled, was able to see via grafana UI, alert state history.

  • What did you expect to happen?
    Expected to get metrics and as well be able to see state history in grafana end.

    Just wanted to know if enabling, unified_alerting.state_history
    with a prometheus backend.
    If you then lose the tracking and showing in grafana , via the alert info view.
