In drop down of instance label it is very difficult to read entire 1000x server’s. Also for alerting it will be very difficult to manage 1000x machines alert on single instance.
Please explain why alerting is a problem (reproducible example pls)?
Generally, you need single query, which will group result by server. You also don’t need any dashboard with unified alerting - just alert rule.
So dashboards and alerting are two separate things. What are you trying to accomplish? And what is your data source?
