Customized Graph settings?

Hi,

we have a generic dashboard for viewing any metric in our data set. The metric name is visible in the Title nicely, but how can I add other data using our own metric metadata? We need to set following settings (in the first phase):

  • Graph – General - Description
  • Graph - Axes – Unit (showing our own unit)
  • Graph – Display – Thresholds

This is not possible right now. Custom data sources can (if we write or have your own data source plugin) can return unit info in the returned series but this not supported by any of the built in data sources plugins

where can I find documentation or examples how to do the trick? We have ElasticSearch as data source.
