When I editor a panel, if I set the visualization of the Panel to Graph, the options is listed under the Display tab such as “Axes” and “Legend”. But for the “Time series” Visualization, the options are under the Field tab at the right of top. I think these configuration or settings are for graph objects not the Field or column of data. Is there any rules for when to use which? I found the graph plugin is developed by angular, is it a reason?

The time series panel is the new default graph, which is replacing the old graph panel. A lot of options in the old graph panel editor are now available under the overrides section near the bottom of the panel editor. This allows for much finer-grain control
