Comma Separation for Thousand Hour Value

In the Standard options of the panel, if the hours exceed thousand in the ‘Time / duration (hh:mm:ss)’ unit, could a comma be included?

As I attempted to utilize the ‘locale format’ unit, which successfully incorporates the comma as a thousand separator, but it does not apply to the hh:mm:ss unit.

Since two units can’t be used simultaneously, how can this be resolved?

welcome @norshafinahafiz

What is your datasource. I recommend doing that formatting there in the query. For example the following is with SQL Server.

What locate has time comma delimited, so unusual. Also this will most probably be problematic if you want to use it for time series.

The time highlighted with the square one is using grafana override with format time: HH,MM,SS and as you can see it does some strange things to it.

Hi @yosiasz Thanks for your reply.

This is the original time data display

What I’m trying to do is as below (red comma)

As for the data source, in my case it is from a PostgreSQL, and the ‘time’ data extracted from my PostgreSQL database is a ‘second’ unit. It was then applied with Unit: duration (hh:mm:ss) in Grafana, and it shows a thousand hour in total.
