I am starting my adventure with grafana and after a couple of steps I’ve come across for a big issue:
There is no way to log in to localhost after creating an account and installation on my laptop.
Could you please advise what I’m doing wrong?
I created an account,
Downloaded version of the latest OSS Grafana,
I’m opening a web browser and tryin’ to login to localhost:3000 there is a response that my account does not exist or the password is wrong… When I’m using grafana on the web (from URL) there are no issues with the account or password.
I did not find any info that OSS does not support Local version of grafana on my computer.
If my question is repeated - please provide me a link to that topic - because I did not find any.
What does that mean? Where did you create this account?
Downloaded version of the latest OSS Grafana,
I assume that you followed some steps to install and configure it, even
though you haven’t explicitly said so - please point us at the documentation
you followed to do this.

This very much sounds to me like you are creating an account on some external
instance of Grafana and then expecting that account’s credentials to work on
another instance on your own machine.
I did not find any info that OSS does not support Local version of grafana
on my computer.
It does.
Please give us a bit more detail(as outlined above) to explain exactly what
you did in what order, and things might become clearer.
Please be clear about what you mean by phrases such as “on the web”.
You need to create the account on your local machine, and this should be part
of the installation and setup instructions you followed after downloading
Grafana.
Unfortunately I cannot help you with doing this under Windows, but if it’s not
clear from the documentation you are following, I’m sure someone else here can
assist.
