Can not verify phone on grafana OnCall OSS

  • What Grafana version and what operating system are you using?
    I’m using the latest Grafana version provided by https://raw.githubusercontent.com/grafana/oncall/dev/docker-compose.yml

  • What are you trying to achieve?
    I want to evaluate the functionality and possible use cases of Grafana OnCall

  • How are you trying to achieve it?
    I deployed docker-compose on my local system

  • What happened?
    I configured twilio credentials through ENV variables that are accepted by Grafana OnCall because I see a green check mark behind all twilio settings in the environment page.
    When I try to add a phone number to a user (admin user) I get the message Can't verify phone. Check ENV variables to configure your provider. without any indication on what is actually wrong. I’m not able to add a phone number.

  • What did you expect to happen?
    Being able to add a phone number to the user and verify it.

  • Can you copy/paste the configuration(s) that you are having problems with?

  • Did you receive any errors in the Grafana UI or in related logs? If so, please tell us exactly what they were.
    Can’t verify phone. Check ENV variables<://localhost:3000/a/grafana-oncall-app/live-settings> to configure your provider.

  • Did you follow any online instructions? If so, what is the URL?
