Builder Mode MSSQL datasource

  • What Grafana version and what operating system are you using?
    Grafana V9.0

  • What are you trying to achieve?
    I wanna use MSSQL as data source and use the code builder as per grafana’s documentation

  • How are you trying to achieve it
    I just simply add data source and I can connect to MSSQL data source successfully.

  • What happened?
    When I try the explorer option in grafana, I don’t have the option of “Code Builder”, only the “code mode”

  • What did you expect to happen?
    I should have the options to select either I will use code builder or code mode.

  • Can you copy/paste the configuration(s) that you are having problems with?

  • Did you receive any errors in the Grafana UI or in related logs? If so, please tell us exactly what they were.
    No error’s as per logs.

  • Did you follow any online instructions? If so, what is the URL?

You need to read a doc for your version: Microsoft SQL Server | Grafana documentation
It doesn’t mention builder mode => your version doesn’t have builder mode.
