Assistance monitoring websites with Grafana

    Grafana Cloud on Windows

  • What are you trying to achieve?
    I have websites I wish to monitor. I want to know if the site is up and also monitor traffic if possible.

  • How are you trying to achieve it?
    So far, I am not sure about the “how” part of this. I have read some articles and the most recommended solution is to use Prometheus Blackbox Exporter but being brand new to Grafana, I am not sure exactly how to do this.

  • Can you copy/paste the configuration(s) that you are having problems with?

  • Did you receive any errors in the Grafana UI or in related logs? If so, please tell us exactly what they were.

  • Did you follow any online instructions? If so, what is the URL?
    This is one of the sites I found but I could really use some very easy instruction on how to use Prometheus Blackbox Exporter.
