Ansible (AWX) notifications into Grafana (8.4)

I would like to send job failure notifications from AWX to Grafana dashboard (Grafana version 8.4). In the Grafana side, should I need to configure datasource (Postgres) or just creating a dashboard is enough ?

On the AWX side, I will provide Grafana URL, API key.

Since this is kind of a push mechanism (AWX to Grafana), I don’t see the point of creating datasource in Grafana. Please help me to clarify this. Are there any KB articles for the same ?

    Send Job notifications from AWX to Grafana

  • How are you trying to achieve it?
    In the AWX dashbaord → Administration → Notifications → Adding Grafana URL and Grafana API key.

  • Did you receive any errors in the Grafana UI or in related logs? If so, please tell us exactly what they were.
    I am in configuring phase and I am having doubts.

I am kind of facing the similar scenario. Were you able to figure out the answer?

I tried to create test notification and it was failing and then I find that connectivity from AWX to Grafana was not there so port TCP 443 was recently opened.

This is what I am checking at the moment - configuring annotations.
