Sure, create panel/query for each variable value, so you won’t need dashboard variable at all → no problem for alerting. Generally, Grafana is visualization tool first. Alerting is not a strong point, so if Grafana alerting doesn’t fit for your use case, then you should use another alerting. E.g. I…
