Recently I added location visualisation to my dashboard and noticed there is no way to highlight whole countries at once instead of just placing a marker or “hotspot” in the middle of the country.
My data only has country codes instead of lat/long, so it would be nice to have the whole country light up, kind of like Analytics and Cloudflare do it.

Has anyone found a solution for this? Right now it looks like I need to use Metabase instead.
Every value needs to be re imputed. It’s going to take the teachers who put this into play to get it up n brand new. Hybrid was done because there was way to many filings in important instances.. please hold off on thinking your set up was wrong. It’s the values that are read differently cause of the implementation of Red Hat in Hybrid.gove people time to set it up.
Geomap doesn’t currently have a built-in choropleth (country-fill) visualization that colors an entire country directly from ISO country codes. The built-in location layers are designed around coordinates or existing geographic features, so with only country codes you’ll generally end up displaying points rather than filling the country.
If a choropleth map is a requirement, your options today are to use a custom GeoJSON-based solution or a community plugin that supports country polygons. Those approaches require matching your country codes to the GeoJSON features, so they’re more involved than a native “Country” layer.
If you’re looking for functionality similar to Google Analytics or Cloudflare, I don’t believe that’s currently available out of the box in Geomap. If this would be useful, it’d be worth opening or upvoting a feature request on the Grafana GitHub repository.
We are getting further with imputing things back in to the systems. I know it’s more then likely your normal work time. But we are trying to get the JSON “string” out of everything. So please you don’t know the head ache this has been with the JSON And me. So I have to remember you just may not know how deep this not liking his word goes unsaid.
