7.0 table panel text to text mapping

before 7.0, table panel supports text to text mapping, while in the new table panel, it allows number only. Does this restriction meaningful?

Yes, it appears this is a regression bug.

This has been recently logged to the developers here so hopefully it will be fixed in future:

If you have dashboards with the old table panel on you can copy/paste those panels and continue to use the old version table panel.
