400 Error for in Grafana UI when using ID's to use Metric Math

  • What Grafana version and what operating system are you using?
    MacOS 14.4
    Browser: Firefox
    Grafana: Grafana v11.0.0 (277ef258d4)

  • What are you trying to achieve?
    For the panel to match itself in the grafana app.

  • How are you trying to achieve it?
    embedded grafana through reverse proxy. All other panels work. This particular panel is using cross-account data. (if that affects it)

  • What happened?
    Panel in embedded grafana UI is showing the error.

  • What did you expect to happen?
    Query built with “code” option. When using an ID of another query. The embedded panel version says that the ID is not found. But in the actual Grafana app where I modify the panel, there is no issue.

    FILL(ebp,0)

You might have to redefine your source name in Grafana. Check my example my_source
