Zabbix Plugin not appearing in Web GUI - Add Plugins

Hey everyone.

I’m using [Grafana v11.1.0 (5b85c4c2fc)] on my RHEL 7.9 server.
I want to implement my Zabbix as data source by adding it as plugin on my Grafana.

I used this guide to install Zabbix to my server.

I downloaded alexanderzobnin-zabbix-app using the command. I made sure the plugin is in the right directory. But I can’t see Zabbix on my web GUI - add plugins/data source tabs.

What would you suggest i do? Thanks.

Hello @aliskus

First you need to enable the plugin on the screen where you installed it. There will be an enable button to enable it and only then will the option to add it to Datasources appear.

Hi.

Yeah i know, and there isn’t an option to enable the plugin. Zabbix isn’t showing among the other plugins. I installed it using a command on my server.

Hello, my problem is solved. Turns out;

Grafana was installed to the server using root access. Since it wasnt installed using grafana user, grafana wasnt able to see the downloaded zabbix plugin. Weird.
