Variable created for CSV datasource query does not recognize Fields

  • What Grafana version and what operating system are you using? Grafana v8.0.2 (5c5d45e19f)

  • What are you trying to achieve? Create a Query Variable based on specific field in CSV datasource (any field besides field 1)

  • How are you trying to achieve it? New Variable → Type=Query, Field=

  • What happened? The only values that show are from Field 1, regardless of what Fields I define

  • What did you expect to happen? Values are retrieved for the selected Field

  • Can you copy/paste the configuration(s) that you are having problems with? Field=FieldName copied from Response

  • Did you receive any errors in the Grafana UI or in related logs? If so, please tell us exactly what they were. No Errors

  • Did you follow any online instructions? If so, what is the URL?
