Grafana: 6.4.3
I’m trying to rename existing prometheus datasource.
For sake of the change I’ve created additional datasource with the new name aside the once that is already in use.
Then I’ve opened the Dashboard settings -> JSON Model and updated all “datasource” entries to the new datasource and clicked Save.
Expected result:
Created new dashboard version with the new datasource
Actual result:
Create new dashboard version with the original datasource
Importing the Json with updated datasource as a new dashboard does creating the dashboard as expected, with the new datasource.
As well I’ve managed to update the datasource settings via web UI datasource selection control.
So the problem is about updating the existing dashboard via JSON editor.
I’m wondering is somebody found solution/workaround for the problem?
