Table link to another dashboard

Hello,
New to Grafana so please bear with me =)

  • What Grafana version are you using? v5.4.3
  • What datasource are you using? Prometheus
  • What OS are you running grafana on? Ubuntu 16.04 in AWS
  • What did you do? Created a link to another dashboard on a table column
  • What was the expected result? Ability to pass uid
  • What happened instead? Managed with ugly solution

So what is the preffered way to do the above?
My shortcut to make it work was to change the uid of the dashboard I want to a value in one of the columns (name of dashboard) and then using the $__cell value in link. But this doesn’t feel like best practice.
Any preffered way linking to other dashboards in tables?
