Hello, I have been using Grafana and Canvas as an industrial supervisory system, and I like it, but there are many things that could be improved. I would like to suggest some points and know if the developers are interested in advancing the SCADA model of Canvas. Below are some suggested improvements:
- Simplify the inclusion of new animated elements (such as the drone was added); currently, it is necessary to modify the code and recompile, which is impractical for an industrial application.
- Integration of alarm status in Canvas, enabling the animation of an object (e.g., changing its color to red) if there is an active alarm.
- Include a standard library of various freeware icons, such as industrial, health, computing, etc.
- Integration of basic graphical elements into Canvas, such as gauges, level indicators, etc.
- Option to remove tooltips
- Object visibility function, allowing an object to be visible or invisible based on a variable.
I like using Canvas, and I think it has a lot of potential
