Structured metadata setup?

Hi I’m testing the default docker version - all going well until I try and send structured metadata - i see this message:-
‘stream '{Log=“Info”}' includes structured metadata, but this feature is disallowed. Please see limits_config.structured_metadata or contact your Loki administrator to enable it.\n’

I’ve read and re-read the documentation but haven’t managed to get it working yet…any pointers please?

Structured Metadata is designed to support ingesting OTEL data. If you’re not ingesting your logs in OTEL format, there’s no reason (yet) to be using structured metadata.
