SOLVED: Enable Embedding In An Unraid Docker

Hello everyone,
I’m trying to bring in some system UI elements from Grafana into Homarr via iframes to build out a dashboard but nothing I copy/paste from Grafana seems to be working in Homarr. I was told that I need to enable embedding in Grafana but I have no idea on how to do this in an Unraid docker environment. Any guidance would be super helpful. Thanks <3

  • What Grafana version and what operating system are you using?
    Unraid Docker: Grafana v11.6.0 (d2fdff9ee4)

  • What are you trying to achieve?
Getting system stat UI elements like ‘CPU Load’ and "System Temp’ From Grafana into Homarr via iframe for UI elements in a dashboard.

  • How are you trying to achieve it?
Copy Embed and Link options from Grafana’s UI element and paste that into Homarr’s iframe.

  • What happened?
I get a frowny face URL logo in Homarr.

  • What did you expect to happen?
For the UI Element to show up and work.

  • Can you copy/paste the configuration(s) that you are having problems with?
http://192.168.0.19/goto/cJNnsB1Hg?orgId=1 is what I get when I copy the share link from Grafana. There is also an embed link as well but Homarr is asking for an http address.

  • Did you receive any errors in the Grafana UI or in related logs? If so, please tell us exactly what they were.
    Nope.

  • Did you follow any online instructions? If so, what is the URL?
Many, I’ve been to over 15 sites but none of them tell you how to enable embedding for Grafana in an Unraid Docker. Why would you list embedding options in the UI if embedding is turned off? And why isn’t there a UI toggle for this vs editing an .ini file in 2025? Just make a settings tab with UI elements.

This got me up and running. Now I just need to find out how to make Homarr’s iframe to stop asking for login info. Maybe by making my board public?
