Hi everyone. I’m relatively new to Grafana alerting and have a few alerts configured at this point. They’re set up in such a manner that one alert can cover all machines of a metric (CPU usage via node-exporter, grouped by “instance”). This has been working great as I add in other instances/hosts to monitor. Is there a way to silence all alerts regarding a specific hostname that I could use as a form of Maintenance mode?
One thought I had was potentially passing the “instance” variable through alert tags and then referring to that, but I don’t know if you can pass values like that through an alert tag or not. I’d rather not create separate alerts for each host and then provide a tag to then filter by from there. Has anyone tried to do something like this before?
