Version 8 Grafana on ubuntu, elasticsearch metric DB

The queries that trigger these alerts are all multi series based on host. I need the triggering host name in the alert as well other wise it is somewhat useless.

Have tried putting {agent.hostname} in Notification Summary and various permutations there of. No joy. Cannot see any multi series examples.

Just to make this clearer I have bunch of servers in an environment and any one of them could have disk, memory or database pool alerts. So how do I emit the host name into the alert so I dont have to SSH to each of them to resolve the issue?

What is the magic config?
