Setting up state timelime to see status changes in the future (with start and end time)

  • What Grafana version and what operating system are you using?
    v10.0.3, Win10

  • What are you trying to achieve?
    I have a couple of test machines. I want to use the state timeline to show, when a test machine is occupied by a test.

  • How are you trying to achieve it?
    This is the data i have. A name, a start time and a end time.

    I want it to look like this:

    I want the machines to be on the y axis, and the red cells, represent the duration between start and end time

  • Can you copy/paste the configuration(s) that you are having problems with?
    Im reading the data in with the JSON API datasource
