I have dashboards with a datasource variable, pointing to data for different countries. I would like to set the timezone of the dashboard based on the selection of datasource, using a query variable. However it seems that the dashboard timezone cannot be set from variables. I tried with different types of variables, assigning them to the timezone property in the JSON model, but the interval dropdown just shows the variable name:
Is there a way to define or assign this variable that could make this work? Or another way to achieve the same thing?

I have the exact same issue, multiple systems in different countries/timezone, with the need to always show the time (in the data-source) of the system being rendered irrespective the User’s timezone, automatically switching time-zone based on the timezone of the data. Has anyone come up with a solution for this?
