Yes, I know this has been asked a few times here and on other sites, but I can’t this working…
I use Cloudwatch as a data source, and I want to replace the EC2 Instance ID with the tag.Name value. this needs to be in the dashboard legend, but more imprtantly in the alert messages we get.
Can someone show me an example of how to get this working? I hate to say this but my CTO is pretty adamant that an instance ID in an alert is near useless and will be a blocker to us making Grafana our production monitoring system.
