Promtail windows client missing log lines

as of promtail for Windows 2.3.0, we are missing log lines in Loki.

So we got only one line at …, 255, but …, 214 has all two lines. There has been no end of file inbetween. This is not a query issue either, I tried different |= expressions (“2021-11-10 10:01:18” and “read-7194”).

Were there any related changes after 2.3.0? Is there anything else I can check?

updated to 2.4.1, same behavior.

found “entry out of order” logs in Loki log file, updated Loki to 2.4.1 - no dropped entries so far.
