Grafana version: 4.2.0
A thing that has been annoying me for a while is the way the auto-complete Metric lookup works when it comes to long metric names.
No matter how wide I make the Grafana browser window I’m still limited to something like 53 characters which will always show the start of the metric name.
The lookup works fine and the highlighting aspect is great, but when I can’t see the highlighted part that I’m filtering for (the entered text), because there are many metrics that start with the same 53 digits and only differentiate at the end of the metric name, it’s basically unusable.
I guess what I’m asking for is whether it’s possible to not limit the width of the lookup autocomplete box that appears.
