Png with transparent backgroud defined

Hi everyone,
I’m using the geomap panel, with the option to show images (in beta right now), in a location over the map. I’ve generated my own images in png format, and I’ve set the background color of the images to “transparent” (white ->transparent), since I need the map to be visible behind the image. Well, I don’t understand why, but using geomap it seems that this characteristic of images in png format is not recognized, or maybe there’s something I haven’t done to make the image background “transparent” … I’ve been trying for several days to see what’s happening but I still can’t figure out what the problem is.
Does anyone have an idea that could help me?
