New Gauge Panel in Grafana 6: Could have ideal value?

The new Gauge Panel is great. I wonder if it may be a good opportunity to allow something I want in most of my gauges: An ideal value. Usually I want my value to be around a certain value, not above, not below. Current coloring doesn’t support that.

you can set the base threshold to red.
so it would be

60: red
40: green
base: red

So only values between 40 and 60 would be green
