How To? Configure Gauge thresholds lower values reduce, not increase

  • What Grafana version and what operating system are you using?
    Grafana 9.3.16 in EKS

  • What are you trying to achieve?
Gauge where larger is better, smaller is worse, and thresholds work properly – i.e. larger values are Green, smaller values are Yellow, smallest values are Red. For instance I have one where the current value is 355. I would like it to display yellow below 200, and red below 50.

  • How are you trying to achieve it?
Gauge type panel, thresholds … basically I don’t get it at all how I can achieve this

  • What happened?
Nothing, can’t find any way to do this

  • What did you expect to happen?
current value is 355. I would like it to display yellow below 200, and red below 50.

  • Can you copy/paste the configuration(s) that you are having problems with?
    no

  • Did you receive any errors in the Grafana UI or in related logs? If so, please tell us exactly what they were.
    no

  • Did you follow any online instructions? If so, what is the URL?
no, can’t find any in Grafana docs or via internet search

Are you answering some invisible questions we are not seeing?

I use the override tab for tables set the thresholds by percentage, then just change the colors do green is the largest value
