Running:
Mosquito broker on Oraclecloud, The necessary firewall ports are open as I can send to it via a node-red instance (deployed on the Raspberry PI4) MQTT messages. These I receive successful.
Trying to use geeks-r-us mqtt-panel in Grafana to send via MQTT to Mosquito MQTT broker data that is on Oraclecloud.
After I “Apply” the panel, the send is still greyed out.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I would not recommend that plugin. It’s about 2.5 years since the last update.
Have you tried this plugin instead?

I am not looking to listen to MQTT stream, want to send from Grafana via MQTT.
The data I want to sent is Boolean and Integers.
The MQTT data source plugin you are referring to are also not very stable. (but that is another topic)
