MongoDB data source doesn't support alerting queries

I am using Grafana in combination with MongoDB using this plugin GitHub - JamesOsgood/mongodb-grafana: MongoDB plugin for Grafana

All works good and I love it, except alerts does not work. It says “The datasource does not support alerting queries”

Is there a work around to create alerts based on metrics from a MongoDB data source?

Unfortunately, data sources must explicitly support alerting. Have you tried reaching out to the plugin developer?
