Grafana alerts and elasticsearch

Hi,
in my grafana(4.2.0) I configured an elasticsearch(5.3.0) data source where I get data to create my graphs.
Now I need to create alerts but I get the following error
"The datasource does not support alerting queries"
Do you know when grafana will support elasticsearch for alerts? Is there another way to put in place alerts with elasticsearch(some plugins etc)?

Not sure when it will be ready. Hopefully after summer.

Try https://github.com/Yelp/elastalert in the meantime, plugin for ElasticSearch.

Has there been any movement on this? The last claim was that it would be hopefully ready after summer, haven’t seen anything since then.
