Kernel patching using Grafana v5.4.1

Hi,

I am using Grafana v5.4.1 on RHEL 7.3 (Maipo)

I am about to do some patching on the linux kernel.

I would like to find out will my grafana v5.4.1 still be able to support if i patch the below linux kernel?

kernel-3.10.0-1062.18.1.el7.x86_64
kernel-debug-3.10.0-1062.18.1.el7.x86_64
kernel-devel-3.10.0-1062.18.1.el7.x86_64
kernel-headers-3.10.0-1062.18.1.el7.x86_64

Difficult to say unless you tell us what patches you plan to make, however in
general I’d say the two are quite independent of each other.

I think so - can’t see that any kernel updates would affect Grafana. Do you have any more information on what the patches will affect?

Hi Danie,

I do not have any info of this patches what it will affect. My sysadmin is about to do a patch, so just checking here to confirm
