K6 integration with Prometheus or Influxdb

Hi Team,

I never used Prometheus or influxdb earlier. I go through official K6 documentation over these two integrations. Seems like influxdb 1x is very simple but 2x need some workaround (extensions). Prometheus is totally different from influxdb also there is an extension to support. i found these threads but they didn’t meet my purpose.

Can someone help me to choose the correct tool for the integration by explaining the advantages I will get over these tools?
