Is Unpoller the wrong way to gather Unifi metrics

  • Grafana 11.2 on Ubuntu 24.04

  • Trying to pull important metrics from unifi into a NOC

  • I have been trying everything mentioned in the documentation i can find online. Every search I preform I only come up with outdated config for Unifi to Grafana. Is this because there is a better way and people have moved on? Or is it because things work and they don’t need to change? I feel like the idea has been abandoned and I am worried I am spinning my tires trying to make this work.

  • I can pull data from telegraf but its not the snmp data, should I be shifting to API?

  • Ideally I would like to truck the unifi data over and get a NOC that will give us robust important information.

  • I can show configs if there is any shot that this is still a viable option.

  • I am not getting errors things seem to be connecting. But the data is just not showing up.

  • I followed UnPoller’s site for instructions. Go Lift | Unpoller - UniFi Poller I have gone through a lot of different ways to do this, all of which is 5 or more years old.
