Just wondering if it was possible to configure Grafana (with telegraf/influxdb as datasource) to send alerts to a Nagios or Icinga system? I know how to send nagios performance results into Grafana for trending, but wanted to reverse the flow and send a passive check result into Nagios if [criteria>] was met with Grafana.

You may be able to use a webhook as notifciation channel for Grafana Alerts, see documentation.
