Install grafana-image-renderer gets a 404 (macOS)

installed 7.x a few weeks back. Got my first graphless email yesterday. Read about the new rendering plugin, followed the instructions and got a 404.

Further, grafana-cli plugins list-remote | grep render produces no output.

Did somebody misplace this plugin? Are the docs wrong? Am I doing it wrong?

Running 7.3.6 on macOS 10.13.6. Node is 6.11.1 (which I guess is fairly old!)

Email regarding what? You say “graphless” - why should it include a graph?

Is that different from previously on your system?

Hard to say until you give us enough information to essentially replicate what
you have done.

Antony.

An alert email from Grafana. That would previously have contained graphs but now contains a message saying you need the plugin, this message:

Is there any other documentation?

I’ve never had to run that command before. However I would expect, if any plugin existed in the repository with “render” in the name, that this command would show it. And I believe the documentation I have now cited implies the existence of so-named a plugin.

I ran grafana-cli plugins install grafana-image-renderer

Right, figured out I had some old $PATH settings and was running grafana cli from v.4. My fault, nothing to see here
